I found my scrole lock with the help of Freequency!
I have to hold down a key that is just to the left of my windows key and directly to the right of the left control key. That key in combination with my numb lock key = scrole lock.
Now the problem is how ever, for some reason hitting that key and f 12 at the same time(regardless of weather I hold control and numb lock) the computer hybernates. I went to power options, turned of the hybernate option and tried to see who signed into MSN messenger.
This only caused my computer to go into stand by mode!
What the bloody hell is happening here? Can it be stopped and/or turned off?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Well, I'm not entirely sure what it is you're trying to achieve here however, ctrl + shift + F12 will tell you who last signed into messenger. No need for scroll lock. Sorry if that isn't helpful.

I tried that and it didn't mention who last signed it. Also according to FS's what's new in JAWS 8 file the scrole lock is needed! I'm even more confused now!

Oh so your saying it's a different key stroke in Jaws 8? That may well be the case as I'm only using Jaws 6. Apologies for the miss information then. I can't help though I'm afraid.

Actually I figured out something with jaws 8, you don't need that key command. All you should be able to do is hit the scroll lock key twice in rapid section, and it should work. Atleast it does for me.

Nope, that is not supposed to work. Instead, remap the key command, by going to the keyboard manager and remapping "RepeatLastMSN" or similar under the default key binding.

yes. hit jaws key plus 8. Then, control plus shift plus d, to modify the default keyboard file. Now, make sure you're in the list of key commands and type repeat. this should get you down to where you need to be. Once you've selected the command you want to change the key stroke for, press control plus h. Type what you used previously. OK out of there, and hit alt plus f4 to close that out. If it asks you to save anything, just hit y for yes.
